Heybrook Primary and Nursery

Heybrook Primary and Nursery School

We have a dedicated member of staff, Mrs Smith, who organises our extra-curricular provision.

As of November 2022, we are offering a free breakfast club for all school pupils. This is free of charge. We are encouraging pupils to attend where they can play games, read, work or just talk to friends whilst having their breakfast. We hope this helps parents who may be dropping children at different start times as we now operate a staggered start.

We offer a homework club to all pupils in Key Stage 2 where they can stay and work, with support, on any aspect of their learning.

We also offer a full range of after school-clubs including a brass band, Lego club, choir and many sporting activities run by specialist coaches.

In the spring term of 2022 the after school Drama Club pushed past their nerves to perform Little Red Riding Hood. This club was run by the wonderful Miss Gawthorpe. She was so proud of all members who have so hard. Miss Gawthorpe would also like to give out a special mention to the Craft and Art after school clubs who have contributed by making some of the props for the production. See our production below.
