What will your child be learning?

In Year 2, pupils will study a broad and balanced curriculum covering:

• English
• Mathematics
• Science
• Foundation subjects- History, Geography, Art, DT, Music, Computing, PE, RE

PE

• Marigold- Tuesday
• Yellow- Tuesday
• Buttercup– Thursday

 Please can children wear PE kit to school on their PE day.

How can you support your children at home?

Our children work incredibly hard at school, please make sure that you continue to support their learning at home.

Reading: Please ensure that you read with your child at least 3 times a week and that it is signed whenever your child has read.

Spellings: All children are given new spellings each week.  Please ensure that they practice their spellings each day so they are ready for the test on Friday.
